Leah Lum is having another outstanding campaign for the UConn Huskies women's hockey team.

Richmond hockey standout Leah Lum has been recognized for her play at the NCAA Division One level with the UConn Huskies.
The sophomore blueliner was named Hockey East Player of the Week after leading the Huskies to a two-game sweep of Vermont last weekend.
Lum was honoured for her four point performance against the Catamounts, three of which came in Saturday’s 3-1 victory.
She opened the scoring early on in both games. Lum also assisted Theresa Knutson’s game-winning goal on Saturday and tacked on an insurance marker for the Huskies in the third period to seal it 3-1.
Lum now has 17 points so far this season, including seven goals.
The McRoberts Secondary graduate is coming off a stellar freshman campaign which saw her named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team. Lum was top 10 in scoring among defenceman and rookies with 19, including four goals.
She came through the Richmond Ravens Female Hockey Association and captained the Ravens’ Midget “A” team. She also played for the Pacific Steelers and twice skated for B.C. teams at the U18 National championships.
