Fairchild Media Group hosts provincial election forum in Richmond

Candidates from BC Conservatives, BC Green Party and BC NDP will participate in the debate.

The Fairchild Media Group is organizing the “2024 BC Election Forum” this Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Aberdeen Centre in Richmond.

Provincial election candidates from the Conservative Party of BC, BC Green Party and BC NDP will be present at the forum, which will be conducted in Cantonese.

News anchor for Fairchild Television Clement Tang and news anchor for Fairchild Radio Mandy Wen will host the debate.

Panelists include the commentator of “News Talk” on AM1470 Ken Tung, program host of “News Hotline” on AM1470 Wallace Chan, Richmond city Coun. Chak Au and former Richmond school trustee Grace Tsang.

Candidates will take questions from the panelists, the audience and each other on topics such as health care, economic growth, housing affordability and neighbourhood safety.

General voting day is on Oct. 19.
