An all-candidates meeting for Richmond's two ridings is scheduled for Thursday (April 17) evening at the Minoru Centre for Active Living.
As of last week, eight out of the nine candidates had confirmed they would be taking part in the forum that starts at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
This is in anticipation of the federal election on April 28.
Richmond Centre for Disability and Richmond Poverty Reduction Coalition are combining forces to ask candidates questions on social policy issues.
The debate will also be streamed online via Richmond Centre for Disability's YouTube channel here.
Advance polls are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 18, Saturday, April 19, Sunday, April 20 and Monday, April 21.
Voters should cast their ballots at their assigned polling station on advance voting days.
Registered voters should have received a voter information card in the mail with information where to vote in advance polls.
If the information on the card is incorrect or you didn’t receive one, click here to check your registration, register or update address information. Voters can also call Elections Canada at 1-800-463-6868 or 1-800-361-8935 (TTY) for help.
Voters can also register when they go to vote. To find your election day or advance polling station, use the online Voter Information Service.
