After weeks of seeing gas prices hovering around $2 per litre, Metro Vancouver is finally in for a reprieve.
According to Gas Wizard's price history, gas in Metro Vancouver is now at 185.9 cents per litre compared to 204.9 cents on Oct. 29.
You may find it even cheaper in some parts of the region:
- Burnaby: 183.6 cents per litre at the Fox (5894 Marine Dr.)
- Vancouver: 183.9 cents per litre at Petro Canada (2277 Kingsway; 2890 East Hastings St; 1289 East Broadway)
- Delta: 185.9 cents per litre at Shell (7165 120 St.)
- Richmond: 183.9 cents per litre at Super Save (6000 No 5 Rd.)
- North Vancouver: 185.9 cents per litre at Husky (3662 Mount Seymour Pkwy)
- New Westminster: 185.9 cents per litre at Shell (5 W 8th Ave.)
- Port Coquitlam: 182.9 cents per litre at Costco (2370 Ottawa St.)
The welcomed price change won’t last too long as it is forecast to jump up to 189.9 cents per litre as of Saturday.
Premium and diesel were at their lowest on Friday at 214.9 cents per litre and 223.9 cents per litre, respectively.
The cheapest gas in Canada on Friday went to Calgary at 154.9 cents per litre. The most expensive place to fill up? Montreal, at 192.9 cents per litre.
