This is a heads-up to motorists travelling on the Alex Fraser Bridge Tuesday afternoon.
Just after 3 p.m. Delta police advised through their social media channels that one lane is open travelling northbound on the bridge, while no lanes southbound on the bridge have been impacted.
A/Insp. James Sandberg told the Optimist via an email, that the lanes of traffic on the bridge have been impacted as officers are negotiating with a distraught individual.
As this is ongoing, the Optimist will provide updates when and if more information becomes available from police.
