The Amsterdam Café in Whistler’s popular Village Stroll is the latest premises in the ski resort to have a COVID-19 “potential exposure” alert issued by health authorities.
Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) announced Monday afternoon that the Amsterdam Café “possible exposure” was between Jan. 11 and 17, Jan. 19, 21, 23 and Jan. 24 to 25, during operating hours.
VCH said the exposures listed on the site are believed to be low risk, but they’re asking anyone who was at the Amsterdam Café on the specified dates and times to self-monitor for symptoms.
Almost 300 new cases of COVID were recorded in Whistler from Jan. 1 to 26 and seven pubs and restaurants in the village are still listed on VCH’s public “exposure” list.
