Another Shoppers Drug Mart location in Richmond is reporting a positive COVID-19 case.
According to parent company Loblaws, a staff member at the Shoppers at 7820 Williams Road – near No. 3 Road in the Broadmoor Shopping Centre – has tested positive “on a presumptive test” for the virus.
“The last day the team member worked was on March 17,” Loblaws said on its website.
“In these cases, we work closely with public health and follow their guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and required cleaning and sanitization in our stores,” Loblaws said.
Earlier this week, the Richmond News reported how a staff member at the Shoppers Drug Mart at Blundell Centre, at No. 2 and Blundell Roads, tested positive for the virus. The last day that employee worked was on March 13.
