The railway crossing gates at Alderbridge Way and Shell Road were stuck in the down position on Wednesday morning, but, as of noon, the intersection was cleared.
This incident halted traffic in both directions at the busy intersection during the morning commute.
The City of Richmond reported the issue to CN Rail.
