Road closures planned during Richmond's Remembrance Day service

The annual parade and service begin at 10:20 a.m. this Monday.

The Remembrance Day parade and service will shut down streets in Richmond's city centre on Monday.

Streets will be closed and traffic patterns will be changed in Richmond's city centre between 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11 for the annual Remembrance Day service.

During this time, there will be restricted access on the following roadways:

Granville Avenue will be closed in both directions from Minoru Boulevard to Buswell Street;

No. 3 Road will be closed in both directions from Park Road to Bennett Road.

The service will start at 10:20 a.m. with the parade of marching units featuring Canadian veterans, members of the Royal Canadian Legion and army, navy and air force veterans, Richmond’s permanent Canadian Forces Unit 39 Service Battalion, cadet organizations and public safety agency representatives, to the cenotaph.
