Drivers heading through the George Massey Tunnel from Richmond to Delta should expect delays this week.
The southbound slow lane of Highway 99 going through the tunnel will be closed overnight until Aug. 16.
The lane closure will be between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. every night for BC Hydro to complete repairs to its equipment in the tunnel.
This is in addition to the ongoing lane closures on Highway 99 at the Steveston Interchange as the construction crew is building the bridge deck for the interchange project.
Drivers are asked to use caution when driving through the work zone.
