On Thursday afternoon, six candidates were at the all-candidates meeting organized by CARP, the Canadian Association for Retired Persons, with a focus on seniors issues. In attendance were Joe Peschisolido (Liberal) and Kenny Chiu (Conservative) vying for the Steveston-Richmond East seat, and Ivan Pak (PPC), Francoise Raunet (Green), Alice Wong (Conservative) and Zhang Zhe (independent) who are running for the Richmond Centre seat. Neither NDP candidate was in attendance. (Stay tuned for a story on CARP forum.)
This evening, the Richmond Climate Hub is organizing an all-candidates meeting at RC Palmer Secondary, at 8160 St. Albans Rd., from 7 to 9 p.m.
