Toronto-Based Vietnamese restaurant expands to Richmond with its bold flavours

Toronto-based restaurant makes its West Coast debut.

A new Vietnamese restaurant serving up beef rib noodle soup has joined Richmond's list of culinary offerings.

Toronto-based Pho Anh Vu has opened its first Western Canadian outpost in Richmond's Garden City Plaza, at Garden City Road and Alderbridge Way.

The restaurant took over the former Dragon Fresh Seafood and BBQ restaurant and grand opened on Feb. 9.

Pho Anh Vu opened its first location in Toronto in 2019 and has since expanded to five other locations in the Greater Toronto Area and one in Hamilton, Ont, according to Pho Anh Vu's website.

Its menu highlights dishes like beef rib noodle soup with meat served on the bone, mango salad with grilled shrimp, grilled chicken and fried egg on broken rice and fish sauce fried chicken wings with sticky rice.

There are also Vietnamese dishes like shrimp rolls, spring rolls, and rare beef tenderloin rice noodle soup.

Pho Anh Vu is open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at #150 – 4751 Garden City Rd.
