Lee’s Donuts has officially landed at YVR.
The store is located after security in the domestic terminal, near Gate B14.
This is the sixth location of the popular donut shop in Greater Vancouver. They’ve been serving customers for 45 years since their first location opened in Granville Island’s Public Market.
A second Richmond location in the historic neighbourhood of Steveston is also expected to officially open its doors sometime this month.
Current owners Allan and Celine Bacani have successfully expanded the beloved donut shop to TV screens as well, being featured in an episode of David Chang’s Netflix series Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, alongside Vancouverite Seth Rogen in 2019.
Lee’s Donuts’ popularity has grown steeply ever since, being recognized by various news outlets and building upon the original recipes of founders Alan and Betty-Ann Lee.
The donut shop is the 14th local brand to open a store at the airport in the last two years.
