A family-friendly fall festival complete with a massive pumpkin patch, adorable baby goats, corn mazes and festive treats kicks off in the Lower Mainland this month.
Maan Farms will commence its seventh annual Fall Festival in Abbotsford on Friday, Sept. 17. The family-friendly event features a range of activities to enjoy, as well as savoury meals and sweet treats to snack on.
Guests will enjoy the the "Enchanted Pumpkin Patch" — North America’s only patch of all-white pumpkins — as well as the Classic Pumpkin Patch, where guests can take pictures in the pumpkin house and with a princess every Saturday and Sunday until Halloween.
Maan Farms will feature a day-time "poop-themed" corn maze this year where "guests can learn fun facts about animal poop as they make their way out of the interactive four-acre maze."
Guests may also enjoy the Barnyard Adventureland, complete with a zip line, a pedal kart track, a giant tire crawl, a play fortress, a jumping pillow, and giant slides. There are also hay wagon rides and an animal play area with baby goats.
What's on the menu at Maan Farms?
The festival will offer a selection of its popular items, including Mama Maan’s Kitchen with favourites, such as samosas, butter chicken bowls, and chai tea. Additionally, guests may enjoy signature fall treats double pumpkin spice ice cream, field-to-plate pumpkin pie, and a variety of festive beverages including pumpkin spice and salted caramel apple lattés and apple cider slushies.
There will also be freshly-popped kettle corn and mini-doughnuts.
The festival offers fido-friendly days called "dog days" on Sept. 18 - 19, Oct. 9 -10 and Oct. 30 - 31.
