Richmond residents in multiple areas will experience power outages as BC Hydro has scheduled repair and replacement work on Nov. 13 and 15 of this week.
BC Hydro plans regular power outages to perform work on equipment or power lines that require them to be de-energized, according to its website.
“By planning the outage and doing the necessary work, our crews can prevent a potential unplanned emergency outage in the future, where a part of the system unexpectedly fails or malfunctions,” says BC Hydro's website.
Here is the list of power outages scheduled for the upcoming week:
Nov. 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect six customers at:
- 4780, 4791, 4800, 4811, 4831 and 4840 Camlann Crt.
Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect eight customers at:
- 10640, 10660, 10680, 10700, 10731, 10751, 10771 and 10791 Rosebrook Rd.
Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect six customers at:
- 4362 to 4379 Blair Dr.
Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect five customers at:
- 7960 Alderbridge Way
- 5551 and 5651 No. 3 Rd.
Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 5 customers at:
- 13471, 13511 and 13631 Vulcan Way
