Four Richmond historic buildings re-created with Lego

Peter Grant recently received a heritage award for his replicas.

Richmond’s “Lego Man,” Peter Grant, has created replicas of four more heritage buildings from around the city, and they are currently on display at the Steveston Tram Museum.

These are recreations of the Pioneer Church at No. 3 Road and Steveston Highway, built in 1906, the 1914 McKinney House on Dyke Road near London Farm, the Parson House in Terra Nova, built in 1895, and the Ransford House on Railway Avenue just north of Steveston Highway, built in the 1930s.

Grant recently won a heritage award from the heritage commission for his replicas of Richmond historic buildings.

The Steveston Tram Museum is currently open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
