Good Morning, Richmond photo exhibit to benefit local charity

Work by local photographers celebrated at the Richmond Cultural Centre until June 28.

Talented local photographers have donated their works to help a Richmond charity tackle poverty in the city.

Photos of Richmond by these photographers were submitted to the Richmond News' as part of the publication's digital "Good Morning, Richmond" daily photo feature.

The "Good Morning, Richmond" photo exhibit is raising funds by selling the photos at $150 apiece until June 28 to benefit the Richmond Poverty Reduction Coalition.

Several photos have already been sold since the exhibit opened on May 31, but some are still available for purchase.

The exhibit is named after the daily feature, and features 15 of the best GMR submissions over the years.

Photos were judged and selected by the Richmond Photo Club from a pool of 67 of the News' favourite photos.

The display is at the Richmond Cultural Centre's Upper Rotunda Gallery at 7700 Minoru Gate.
