Richmond residents are invited to give their feedback on the Hugh Boyd Community Park playground renewal plan.

The City of Richmond is hosting two drop-in style open houses and an online feedback form for residents to share ideas and learn about the planning process.

The open houses will take place at West Richmond Community Centre, 9180 No. 1 Rd on Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 1 from 9 to 11 a.m.

Information boards, activities for all ages, refreshments and more will be at the open house sessions.

There will also be staff from the City of Richmond Parks Department to answer any questions.

For those who cannot make it to the in-person sessions, information boards and an online survey can be found on LetsTalkRichmond.ca/HughBoydPlayground.

The deadline to submit feedback is 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 9.

Feedback from these sessions and surveys will help with the renewal concept plan for Hugh Boyd's playground, with construction expected to start in 2026.

For more information, call the city's parks department at 604-244-1208
