A Richmond bowling fundraiser raised more than $70,000 for BC Children's Hospital Foundation last week.
The Halloween-themed bowling charity tournament, organized by Cheryl Kwok and Cadence Lui, raised $70,015 to help support the hospital in treating children who are sick.
Around 300 people dressed in costumes bowled the cause at Splitsville Richmond Riverport on Oct 20.
"(The) happiest part about the event was for sure seeing so many kids come to support and have fun and even adults dressed up," said Kwok.
"It's always my wish to share my belief that everyone can make a difference. No matter your age, everyone has something to share and give! So I love being able to teach young kids that even they can be superheroes and do their part to help those in need!"
