A child care centre in central Richmond has donated over $1,000 to the Richmond Hospital Foundation.
Rothewood Academy launched a non-profit fundraiser, selling boxes of face masks to parents, in mid-November.
“Our parents are very supportive and we sold over 200 boxes of medical masks within two weeks,” said Sandy Leung, the academy’s principal.
In total, the academy raised $1,156, which was donated to the hospital foundation’s COVID-19 response fund.
