A Richmond childcare centre raised $570 in funds for health-care workers at the Richmond Hospital.
Teachers at Stars of Tomorrow Early Learning in Richmond handmade and sold elf figure ornaments in the recent fundraising event.
The child care centre used the funds to purchase 114 Starbucks Coffee gift cards and delivered them to the staff at the hospital as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work.
“We hope people can be more aware of and appreciate all the time, passion and effort the health-care workers contribute to the society during this unprecedented time for the past year and moving forward,” said Yokie Leung, director at Stars of Tomorrow.
“Together, we can make a difference!”
