Richmond's newest park in the Bridgeport neighbourhood is officially opening next Tuesday.
A ceremony will celebrate the opening of Tait Riverfront Community Park, at 10255 River Dr., on Aug. 30 with a ribbon-cutting event taking place at 5:30 p.m.
There will be free, family-friendly celebration activities including music, face painting and caricature artist drawings at the park on the day of its opening.
Tait Riverfront Community Park is an accessible park with a basketball court, playground and skateboard park elements.
