A local church donated $25,000 to benefit the Richmond Hospital's new acute care tower.
Koinonia Evangelical Church raised and donated the funds to Richmond Hospital Foundation's Power Up Campaign.
This campaign is fundraising to improve access and increase efficiency in the future Yurkovich Family Pavilion.
“We want to spread love, care and blessings to the many families in our community,” said Haines Lee, Deacon at Koinonia Evangelical Church.
“The Yurkovich Family Pavilion will enable enhanced patient care and help launch a new era of health care in Richmond. By supporting the POWER UP Campaign, we are supporting our community members in living a healthier, more fulfilling, and joyous life.”
Koinonia Evangelical Church has been supporting Richmond's healthcare community since 2017.
Over the past years, the church supported the purchase of different medical equipment for the hospital.
"We are so thankful to Koinonia Evangelical Church for always holding the Richmond community close to their heart,” said Spencer Gall, chief philanthropy officer of Richmond Hospital Foundation.
“Their philanthropic support will ensure the new acute care tower sets the stage for the adoption of new technologies and advances in health care delivery, providing lasting, future-forward care for Richmond.”
