Do you know how old the Steveston Fishermen's Memorial is?
The memorial, located in Garry Point Park, was unveiled on May 4, 1996, making it nearly 29 years old.
The 25-foot-tall aluminum sculpture resembling a fisherman's net needle honours local fishermen from Steveston who lost their lives while working in the fishing industry.
