Richmond's Herbaland is accepting scholarship applications for Canadian students promoting sustainability.
Three $1,000 scholarships are being offered to current high school, undergraduate and graduate students in Canada.
Students need to create a video or written application to show their habits and behaviours that promote sustainability, reduce waste and conserve natural resources.
Applications should also include how they live a sustainable lifestyle, why it's important and what social and environmental impact they are creating.
"We want to celebrate and recognize the sustainable efforts of individuals who are doing their part to create a positive impact and minimize their ecological footprint," said Aisha Yang, co-founder and CEO of Herbaland.
"We hope this scholarship will inspire more people to adopt sustainable practices in their lives."
The deadline for applications is June 30 and winners will be announced on July 25.
