The Richmond Public Library is inviting Richmondites to explore the meaning of home at a poetry workshop on Saturday, Oct. 15.
Local poet and community advocate Alan Hill will be sharing valuable tips and tricks, and aspiring writers will learn how to structure poems and present poems in an intimate setting.
To get the creative juices flowing, participants are asked to draw inspiration from photographs displayed on the community art wall, which were created for the prompt "What is important in your life?"
The workshop will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Brighouse library. To register or find more information, visit the library's website.
