Richmond students are being called upon to show their creative side while spreading awareness of how to eliminate bullying in an annual poster contest.
The ERASE Bullying Poster Contest is a yearly call for submissions from Richmond students aged five to 18. This year’s theme is “create connection.”
Entries are expected to draw the audience in and demonstrate how “Richmond is a respectful, safe, caring and connected community that values individual differences.”
The winning poster will be reproduced and launched throughout the community, online and on social media to promote Pink Shirt Day on Feb. 27, 2019. The winner will also receive a $100 prize.
Entries can be submitted online at www.sd38.bc.ca/contests. The contest deadline is Friday, Nov. 9 and voting will take place between Nov. 26 and Dec. 10.
