What is Christmas without a visit from Jolly Old St. Nicholas?
Popular Santa Chris and Mrs. Claus have returned to welcome families at Richmond's Lansdowne Centre.
The pair began greeting families and taking photos on Nov. 18 and will be doing so until Dec. 24.
They were recently visited by a family who has been taking photos with them for more than a decade.
“One particular couple who happened to stop by on their wedding day in 2010 now has two wonderful kids," said Santa Chris.
"They even made a collage of each year’s visit ... we feel like part of the family! They have continued to visit us online during the COVID years, how awesome is that – HO HO HO!”
Mrs. Claus added that she is delighted to be returning to Richmond's Lansdowne Centre to see families again for the winter holidays.
"Seeing families come to visit year after year is a special feeling - all the hugs and love! Happy to spread joy in the community of Richmond.”
Santa Chris and Mrs. Claus will be available, via booking an appointment, Wednesday to Friday until Christmas Eve between noon and 3 p.m. at Lansdowne's Centre Court.
