Build a Real Killer Whale Skeleton: Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 4 and 5:Build a Real Killer Whale Skeleton at Britannia Heritage Shipyard. Free show times are: 11 a.m. to noon; 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 4 to 5 p.m.

Limited seating means it’s a 60-person maximum per show. Dress warm as the building is not heated. Experience this once in a lifetime opportunity to construct a killer whale skeleton.

Wild Mushroom Show: Sunday, Nov. 5:Get along to the Wild Mushroom Show at Richmond Nature Park, 11851 Westminster Highway. Have a fun time with fungi at the Wild Mushroom Show on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Learn about fungi and their essential role in our ecosystem. Meet members of the Vancouver Mycological Society, bring mystery mushrooms for identification, view local fungi, discuss the risks of sampling wild fungi and examine spore prints of mushrooms found in the park.
