From a free wedding show to meeting new friends in Richmond, there's something for everyone this weekend.

1. Visit an art exhibition

Richmond Art Gallery has two new art exhibitions Persimmon Blackbridge: Speak No (emergency) and Dear Plastic starting this month. A curator tour and opening reception is free for the public to attend this Saturday.

2. Wedding show

If you're preparing for a wedding, the Something Blue Wedding Show is for you. From florists and photographers to venue and wellness, couples can look at the latest trends and tips to help with their wedding planning. Ticket holders can also be entered to win door prizes.

Entry is free, but reserve a ticket on Eventbrite.

3. Meet new friends 

Lavash Seaside Grill in Steveston is hosting its weekly event to meet new friends while enjoying a night of karaoke, dancing and drinks.

Date: Saturday, Jan. 18 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Location: Lavash Seaside Grill, 3800 Bayview St.
