Get involved and make a difference at the annual Richmond Christmas Fund.

Organized by Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives (RCRG) the fund helps distribute grocery vouchers to individuals and families in need for Christmas.

Toys, books and sporting equipment are also provided for children 11 or under, and gift cards are given to those between 12 and 17 through the Christmas Fund project.

RCRG is looking for people to fill two volunteering positions: greeter and registration assistant this year.

The greeter will welcome those applying to the Christmas Fund on registration days and answer questions on the qualification process. They will also assist in line management, a vital task ensuring the program runs smoothly.

Registration assistants will meet those who applied to the fund and confirm their eligibility.

Nearly 100 volunteers participate in the fund each year, contributing over 1,400 hours and helping spread joy to those in need during the holidays.

For more information, visit RCRG’s volunteer website or call (604) 279-7020.
