Richmond residents who produce a creative fire safety video have the chance to win an iPad.
Richmond Fire-Rescue is hosting an all-ages Ignite Awareness Video Contest where members of the public create and submit a video on what fire safety means to them.
The winner will receive a brand-new iPad from the fire department.
To enter, applicants must be Richmond residents, create a video of less than one minute in length, sign a waiver release form and submit it to Richmond Fire-Rescue online by April 1 (no, it's not an April Fools joke!).
The winner will be announced on April 5 and the prize must be picked up in person.
For more information and to submit your video, visit the Richmond Fire-Rescue website.
