Mount Pleasant’s Grunt Gallery just announced that they’re “taking the reins” of a giant, non-commercial video screen being erected at Broadway and Fraser outside the new Rize development.
Measuring 13′ by 22′, the screen will be on the second floor, facing Kingsway.
The gallery has commissioned Amanda Strong to create original programming and will also be tapping into Creative BC’s Interactive Fund to develop more than video content; layers of interactivity will be added as the screen will also be equipped with an external camera, streaming audio and some sort of SMS capabilities.
