Kick-off to Christmas in Steveston began with hundreds lined up along Steveston Wharf awaiting Santa's arrival by boat. With RCMP escort and an entourage of elves, Santa led a procession of giddy and anxious kids to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery Museum where Santa heard each of their Christmas wishes. The day ended with Mayor Malcolm Brodie and his own entourage of dignitaries switching on the Steveston Christmas tree in front of the museum.Chung Chow
