With 120 vendors and over 600 food items, the Richmond Night Market kicked off its season this past weekend.
This year’s theme is “summer chill party,” and hundreds of people took in the sights, sounds and tastes of the market’s opening weekend.
Along with more vendors, new this year, barbecue chicken and salmon will be served in addition to the popular summer seafood feast.
Individual tickets are $4.75 per person and entry is free for children under the eight and seniors aged 60 and older. Or, for an express pass, six people can beat the line and get in for a slight discount at $28.
The night market is open Friday to Sunday 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. until Sept. 2. After Sept. 2 and on all statutory holidays, Sunday hours will change and the fair will close at 11 p.m.
