Richmond’s annual 10-day, outdoor carnival is returning to Lansdowne Centre next week.
From March 20th to 31st, the shopping centre’s parking lot will be taken over by rides, games, a huge ferris wheel and plenty of carnival treats.
For the younger carnival-goers, Kiddieland offers the ideal place for young children over the age of two to enjoy a number of brightly coloured rides and places to play. From Choo Choo Charlie to the Super Slide, there are many opportunities to enjoy a day at the carnival.
The food selections are also endless, but some of the most popular treats include cinnamon mini donuts, pretzels, snow cones, cotton candy and sugary Slurpees.
Opening times vary and can depend on weather and guest attendance.
From March 20-21 and 24-29, the carnival expects to be open from 12 – 10 p.m.
On March 22, 23 and 30, the carnival plans to open an hour longer, from 12 – 11 p.m.
Finally, on the carnival’s last day, the gates are expected to close a little earlier, around 7 p.m.
Tickets price for rides vary. For more information, visit Lansdowne Centre’s website.
