The Richmond News is partnering with Deal Music to give away tickets to an Asian music festival next week.

The Young Groove Asian Music Festival, in its second year, is celebrating musical talents from across Asia between Aug. 9 and 11 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. at the Richmond Night Market.

Five pairs of tickets are being given away to the festival.

An opening ceremony will be held at the night market on Aug. 10 at 6:15 p.m.

The festival features more than 10 artist group performances including Peony, K:2, Jun Ring, DJ Vincent and Flying Dance Studios.

There will also be workshops and exhibitions.

"The significance of the music festival this year lies in our continued commitment to showcasing diverse and talented Asian artists, fostering a sense of community, and promoting cultural exchange through music," said a spokesperson with Deal Music, organizer of the event.
