A free music festival is being held next week at Thompson Community Centre (by Granville Ave. and Lynas Ln.) to celebrate all kinds of Asian cultures.
The 2022 Asian Music Festival aims to promote Asian culture to Greater Vancouver residents and provide opportunities for performers of all Asian ethnicities to shine.
Featured acts include Richmond's BGM Dance Studio, Deal Band and AM Dance Studio; Richmond Night Market veterans Non Sweet; as well as Vancouver-based Okinawan performers Southern Wave and Vancouver Guqin Music Society.
The event is jointly organized by the city of Richmond, Asian Arts Foundation, Deal Music and Kiwi production.
The free musical festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and no pre-registration is required. More information can be found on the Facebook event page.
