This year’s Richmond Arts Awards finalists have been selected for their commitment to local art.
Now in its 11th year, the awards are put on by the City of Richmond and the Richmond Arts Coalition to recognize local artists, educators, business leaders and residents who have contributed to the arts.
New this year, the Richmond Arts Coalition will give the winner of the youth arts category a $200 cash prize. The category “recognizes a performing, literary or visual artist, 24 years of age or younger, who has demonstrated outstanding promise and commitment to the Richmond arts community.”
