Innovative artwork from seven emerging artists is being featured in a Richmond exhibition.
The exhibit, Transforming Vision, aims to explore the nuanced relationship between "the aesthetic and the thematic, the beautiful and the profound," through a diverse array of mediums including photography, sculpture, installation, collage, illustration and painting, according to Lipont Place, the organizer.
Artists featured in the exhibit are Anja Nov, Jia Liu, Ji Su, Quinton Qiu, Rebecca Wang, Sophia Bakos and Yunhan Wang.
"Transforming Visions is more than an exhibition; it is an invitation to engage, reflect and connect," said Lipont Place in a press release.
"By juxtaposing light and whimsical imagery with deeply personal and societal themes, the artists challenge us to reconsider our preconceptions about art and its capacity to communicate complex emotions and ideas."
The exhibition is open to the public for free until March 15 at Lipont Place at No.3 and Cambie roads.
