A Richmond actress will be starring in a new TV series produced by Netflix and CBC Gem.
McMath alumna Jennifer Tong is taking on one of the leading roles, along with Emilija Baranac and Richard Harmon, in the new CBC Gem original series titled "Fakes," which is set to premiere on Sept. 1.
The 10-episode, comedy show created by David Turko follows two best friends who "accidentally build" one of the largest fake ID empires in North America.
The two friends move into a downtown Vancouver penthouse before high school graduation, after earning a lot of money, and they get raided by the law enforcement.
Filming of the series take place around Metro Vancouver.
"Fakes" can be streamed for free on CBC Gem in Canada and on Netflix everywhere else.
