Richmond students are invited to take part in an art competition.

Richmond youth are invited to submit artwork to a City of Richmond competition – with a possibility of it appearing either on the cover or inside the Official Community Plan.

Artwork should represent one or more of the Official Community Plan Targeted Update topics, including housing affordability, adapting to climate change, fairness for all who live in Richmond and more, all of which are detailed at LetsTalkRichmond.ca/OCPYouthArtContest.

The contest is open to all school-aged children who attend a Richmond school or are a resident of Richmond.

Individual or groups (maximum of three) can participate.

Following the submission period, community members will have an opportunity to vote for their favourite artwork submissions either online or in-person at future community open houses.

Prizes will be given to youth whose artwork receives the most votes.

Visit LetsTalkRichmond.ca/OCPYouthArtContest for contest rules and online submission guidelines.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, June 1.
