CEO of Iskwew Air receives excellence award at Richmond headquarters

Teara Fraser was recognized for providing service to the Indigenous peoples in remote B.C. areas

The CEO and founder of Iskwew Air was presented with an excellence trophy and award at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) this summer.

Teara Fraser and her company were awarded the 2024 Master's North American Trophy by the Honourable Company of Air Pilots (HCAP) North American Region on Aug. 8 at their Richmond headquarters in YVR's south terminal.

The award is presented every year to companies, organizations or individual pilots who have, in the opinion of the HCAP's committee, achieved excellence in their field.

Fraser was recognized for her initiatives to expand airline service to Indigenous peoples in remote areas of B.C.

The U.K.-based HCAP promotes air safety and recognizes outstanding airmanship.
