A new neighbourhood grocery store recently opened its doors at the corner of Cambie and No.4 roads.
Super G Mart, which opened on March 27, offers a variety of groceries, fruits, snacks, drinks, flowers and others to Richmondites.
The grocery store also sells specialty products from Asia, such as low-calorie Korean snacks, Taiwanese guava, spring bamboo shoots and sugar cane, according to posts published by Super G Mart on the Chinese social media app Little Red Book.
Some of the products, including selected sliced frozen meat for hotpots, are on sale as part of the opening promotions. The store also accepts reservations for flowers.
Super G Mart replaced Luniu Market, the previous vendor of this location. Luniu Mall, an online Asian food distribution platform that owned Luniu Market, sold the store earlier this year after deciding to go fully online.
Before Luniu Market, the corner store was Rainbow Market.
