Got a great business idea and think you have what it takes to pitch it on TV to a panel of Canada’s leading entrepreneurs? Well, you will have the chance to take the first step on that journey when CBC’s Dragon’s Den holds auditions Feb. 15 in Richmond. The event is part of a cross-country search for suitable candidates of all ages with businesses at any stage of development. Hopeful entrepreneurs should prepare to pitch their concept to the Dragon’s Den producers in five minutes or less. If they are successful, they could be invited to Toronto to face the Dragons. Prospective pitchers are also encouraged to apply online and bring a completed application form to the audition. The venue locations for the audition tour, which swings through B.C. until March 11, will be updated online at cbc.ca/dragonsden.
