Richmond Chamber of Commerce revealed this year’s winners for the annual business excellence awards at a gala on Wednesday night.
Nine businesses in Richmond received a trophy in various categories and were recognized for their business performances in their industry and contributions to the community.
“I’d like to extend a really sincere congratulations, not just to all of our recipients, but to all of our finalists,” said Shaena Furlong, CEO and president of the chamber.
“Out of the hundreds of nominations we received this year, you are the 30 businesses that were selected by an independent team of judges to be honoured here this evening.”
Richmond Auto Mall was recognized as this year’s Hall of Fame Inductee for its contribution to the Richmond community over the past nearly 40 years.
“The Richmond Auto Mall…has a history that reflects the evolution of the automotive industry and regional developments…Its success is a testament to its innovative approach to car retailing and its ability to adapt to the changing needs and preferences of car buyers,” according to the chamber.

- Innovative Enterprise of the Year: Layfield Group
- Business Leadership of the Year: ZE PowerGroup Inc.
- Small Business of the Year: Spread’Em Kitchen Ltd.
- Mid-size Business of the Year: 505-Junk
- Large Business of the Year: The Radius Group
