One of B.C.'s iconic summer events, the Richmond Night Market, has announced its opening date.
The summer night market held in Richmond is slated to open its gates to the public on April 28, according to the event's website.
Vendors interested in opening a booth or performers hoping to hit the stage in the summer can now register through the website's online forms.
The market opened for a full season in 2022 after two years of severe restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last year, Firework Productions Limited, which operates the Richmond Night Market, received a $99,000 grant from the Government of Canada as part of Small Business Week in October. Richmond Night market was one of 11 projects to receive government funding to help small businesses recover from the pandemic.
