WorkSafeBC fined a roofing company for high-risk violations in Richmond

A roofing company was fined by WorkSafe BC for high-risk violations while working on a worksite in Richmond.

As Roofing Ltd. was fined $2,500 when WorkSafe BC inspectors found a worker on a two-storey house under construction without fall protection.

The fine was imposed on June 18 when inspectors found a worker on a 4:12 sloped roof at risk of falling about 3.4 metres (11 feet), according to WorkSafe BC.

This is a repeat and high-risk violation for As Roofing Ltd.
