More than half of respondents to a Richmond News poll said they'd like to see more late-night entertainment, but some would also want more police presence.
The News polled 1,360 readers and asked the question: Do we need more late-night entertainment in Richmond?
About 34 per cent answered "yes" to the question about Richmond's night life being too quiet, while 21 per cent said they'd like more late-night entertainment if there were more police presence.
Meanwhile, more than 20 per cent felt it was already too noisy at night and almost 25 per cent said they just like to go to bed early.
The poll ran from Dec. 13 to Jan. 31.
Of the 1,360 votes, we can determine that 491 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:
Results are based on an online study of adult Richmond News readers that are located in the Lower Mainland. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 2.65%, 19 times out of 20.
