The Alex Fraser Bridge southbound lanes have since re-opened after an earlier vehicle incident caused the bridge to fully close.
According to a DriveBC, a vehicle had crashed just before the mid-span of the bridge causing the movable centre barrier to block the left lane on the northbound side.
Southbound bridge traffic is backed up to the Highway 91A exit and eastbound Highway 91 traffic is backed up to Westminster Highway.
Traffic is also backed up on Cliveden Avenue from the on-ramp to the bridge.
Northbound Alex Fraser Bridge traffic is seeing delays from the south end of the bridge.
Emergency crews are still on scene.
